Convert is partnering with Indigenous to end violence against women in fashion industry. 75% of garment workers are women and violence globally against women in the apparel industry is widespread.
For the next two weeks, a portion of the profits from a curated selection of sustainable styles from Indigenous will benefit the Global Fund for Women, which is dedicated to eradicating violence in the fashion supply chain.
Indigenous makes beautiful knits, including jackets, sweaters, tops and dresses from organic materials. They are fair trade, paying the garment workers a liveable wage.
Shop these Global Fund for Women styles at Convert in Berkeley on Fourth Street and in San Francisco on Hayes St, and online at convertstyle.com.
The kick-off event for this effort is 1 to 5 pm Sat., 9/30 at our Berkeley Convert Collection store at 1844 Fourth Street and Sun. 10/1 in our San Francisco store at 556 Hayes St. Hope to see you there!
